The American Institute of Architects Fort Worth held their annual Excellence in Architecture Design Awards jury on Tuesday, October 29th, at The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. The Frazier Conservatory was recognized with the 2024 AIA Fort Worth Design Award.

It was a cold and windy site visit this morning. As we settle into 2024, the team continues to make steady progress.

The heat is unrelenting… and the lake is dry… but construction continues as the clock winds down on August.

Construction continues. The main lodge, pavilion, casita, and parking structure are taking shape.

The casita is now framed and decked and there’s big progress on the main lodge.

The pavilion and adjacent casita are taking form. We no longer have to imagine the scale - it’s a beautiful structure even now.

The graceful arched steel ‘bones’ that will become the barrel vault ceiling at The Frazier Conservatory are rolled and welded at the shop then taken to the site to be installed.

Steel comes together to reveal the first structure… a beautiful sight as we close out the year.
