Morning site visit. Much needed rains have finally arrived.

Exploring exposed aggregate concrete samples provided by J Kellam Builder - pristine polished surface exposing a nice blend of varied aggregate and the occasional fossil. The Frazier Conservatory focuses on the surrounding natural elements and consists of intentionally minimalistic forms and carefully selected materials.

As the basic structural footprint began to reveal itself, a jaw-dropping sunset provided a nice reminder of why we’re doing what we’re doing out here.

And so it begins…
