The Frazier Conservatory is planned as a private retreat to enjoy time with family and friends in a quiet, reflective, natural environment unique to Texas. Located on the c.700 acre Frazier family farm near Stephenville, TX, which includes a 50 acre lake, pristine forests, streams, wildlife and a 100 acre solar farm, the Frazier Conservatory, will feature a multipurpose lodge, casita, cooking pavilion, pool, trails and dock, all under beautiful Texas skies.
Because much of the land that the Conservatory occupies has for generations been maintained to be a haven for nature and wildlife, the outdoor environment is ideal for waterfowl, songbird and indigenous animal watching, nature walks in native settings, reflection and rejuvenation. The Conservatory structure itself is designed to complement and be integrated into the surrounding landscape. During times when it is not in use by the family, it will be available to host retreats, special events, and overnight stays, for individual or group rental. Importantly, the Conservatory will give special priority to non-profit organizations or events with a mission of local land conservation and preservation; agriculture and horticulture; arts and culture including music, visual art, literature and history; culinary and viticulture appreciation; and regional cultural, educational and historical preservation and revitalization efforts.
A Natural Haven
The Conservatory, designed by Jeff Garnett, has been recognized twice by the American Institute of Architects Fort Worth - winning the 2022 AIA Fort Worth Studio Award and 2024 AIA Fort Worth Design Award.
It has been a dream of the Fraziers to build a retreat to welcome generations of family and friends, honor family history, and provide an inspiring venue for visiting guests and special events that contribute to and support the uniqueness of Erath and surrounding counties of Texas. We hope this dream will be fully realized for this and future generations through the Frazier Conservatory.
